Revised Gleason diagram #GUpath #insitupathologists trying to reflect "real world" practice and variants pic.twitter.com/pHy5mM13x3

From what I see, many #gupath are very hesitant to call anything PUNLMP if patient has a prior history of a papillary neoplasm. And there's almost always "enough" atypia for someone to justify LG UC.
— Matthew Wasco (@Gleason4plus5) November 11, 2019
Interesting here from Urologic Oncology - PUNLMP terminology underutilized rendering it essentially meaningless, and equivalent to LG PUC. Are criteria too rigid or are pathologists too inflexible? #pathology #gupath https://t.co/DQHOWHamta pic.twitter.com/q4BzP0rM08

There are also studies that show different genetic tests can give different conclusions on the same patient. Already expensive - maybe there will be a way some day to do a "global" molecular score like Gleason is for histology pic.twitter.com/zAgcAkhZ5m

Are people seriously complaining that testing two different samples counts as two tests?
— Emma Victory (@femtobrewster) May 20, 2020
That's how pathology works.
If I test five samples for patient A and one sample for patient B, do you think that the work and cost involved in testing patients A and B is equal?
Correct, because this one is different. Its pathology is different, its communicability is different. And I don't want you to take this from me, as I am not a medical professional. I just read what they have to say. I encourage you to do the same. I want this over with, too.
