Have seen many results where patient denied being on biotin (because they don't know the name - also vitamin b7), so the only way to know for sure is to test without any supplements. No good way to test for biotin. But if not biotin, still interesting! Human body is crazy.

Very true , but a VERY common pathology called insulin resistance . Glucose is used and stored preferentially in healthy people to avoid endothelial damage among other things . Not because all tissues prefer it as a substrate .
